I am a middle aged wife and mom of 4. I am a born and raised midwesterner who recently relocated to Austin, Texas in 2018. My love and anxiety about fashion started with the birth of my first child in 2002. Born with a rare genetic abnormality, Reilly needed help with all sorts of medical issues. Being inundated with Drs, specialists, therapists etc. created my desperate need for some control. What she wore was my one outlet. It also created an obsessive need to have her always dressed “the best”. The infatuation carried over into my wardrobe and kicked off the crazy love I now have for fashion. I feel the right outfit can lift your spirits and give you a boost. While I continue to struggle with the anxiety around family, fashion, and everything else, I do know this- feeling like you look good can make all the difference.
